ViewPort Platform Technology
The ViewPort Platform platform is a Pure Java and XML software architecture. It can be broken down into four main elements:
- VP_Create Components
- VP_Learn Module
- VP_Assess Module
- ViewPort Browser
The core of ViewPort's content creation, management, storage is derived from VP_Create. Content is deployed through ViewPort browser, our proprietary, purpose built, web browser to facilitate high performance, reliable delivery of content across devices and operating systems.

As depicted in the diagram above, the typical enterprise will have content authors, editors and administrators, who create, edit and manage content. This is accomplished through the VP_Create component in conjunction with the VP_AppServer and DataStore.
With ViewPort Platform, no third party database is required. Data storage and management are "built-in" components (VP_AppServer and VP_DataStore) to the ViewPort Platform platform.
Users of ViewPort Platform have a secure environment to develop assessments and learning initiatives that can be easily deployed and analysed through the ViewPort browser to various types of devices and operating systems anywhere there is an internet connection. Additional customised modules (applications) can be easily added on, extending the range of functionality of ViewPort Platform.
