The ViewPort Platform
The ViewPort platform offers a comprehensive set of tools for the creation, management and deployment of assessment and learning content in a secure, easy-to-use, template-driven application. Content is created only once for delivery to multiple platforms, making assessment and learning easier and less expensive to deliver.
The ViewPort platform interface is the ViewPort Browser, an XML based application platform that delivers unprecedented hardware and operating system independence. All user interaction, from content production and system administration to learning and assessment, are provided through the ViewPort Browser. The ViewPort Browser is available for MacOSX, Linux, Windows and many other Java enabled environments.
The ViewPort Server (hosting the ASP service) provides the highly scalable, secure and robust backbone infrastructure for all ViewPort services.
ViewPort ASP is providing secure, hosted, trouble-free, on-line and paper based assessment services using the ViewPort platform on the front-end. ViewPort users can choose any combination of on-line and paper-based assessment system best suited to their requirements and needs.
